Country music icon George Strait was joined by Alan Jackson and together they celebrated the Country Music Association Awards’ 50th anniversary with a sentimental duet for classic country fans. The performance featured images of country music legends and past CMA Entertainers of the Year such as Johnny Cash and George Jones in the background as the two lended their unmistakable rich voices for the audience full of those who respect them most.

Both three-time CMA Entertainers of the Year themselves, the pair sang a nostalgic medley of Strait’s classic “Troubadour,” and Jackson’s tear-jerking “Remember When,” bringing country music fans back to the staples that many of them were inspired by and grew up on. Jackson started the performance with “Remember When,” that was suspended to show 50 years worth of CMA Awards acceptance speeches before Strait joined to perform "Troubadour."

Over CMA’s 50 years, Strait has won 23 CMA Awards, making him most awarded CMA artist of all time.
